ASACP Begins 'Age Verification 2018' Trilogy at Webmaster Access Amsterdam

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its return to Amsterdam for the annual Webmaster Access industry conference, set for September 7-10, at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel.

Uniting adult webmasters from around the world, Webmaster Access ranks among the biggest shows targeting the European market and incorporates the local installment of the Traffic Dinner, an annual “GFY Party,” as well as several LGBT-oriented GAYVN sessions — bringing together a diverse group of adult website operators and service providers.

The promoters of Webmaster Access graciously provided the association with complimentary hotel accommodations and free registration for this popular event, along with sponsor banner placement, a table at the Meet Market, and an ad in the show guide, for which ASACP is extremely grateful.

“ASACP’s mission without question is one of the single most important endeavors in our industry,” says AVN Media Network CEO Tony Rios. “We’re proud to support their incredible efforts to protect children worldwide and we encourage our Webmaster Access attendees to connect with Tim at the show.”

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning will attend the event, where he will educate stakeholders about the need to protect children online and how ASACP services such as the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta-label, Best Practices and its Code of Ethics help enable this endeavor.

“Webmaster Access attracts adult website operators and their affiliates from across the globe,” Henning says. “These events draw many professionals that may not travel to U.S.-hosted events, providing the association with a great opportunity for reaching the widest audience possible with our message of child protection and corporate responsibility.”

At noon on Saturday, Sept. 8, in the venue’s Leeds 1 room, Henning will moderate a seminar entitled, “The State of Age Verification: Compliance and Vigilance,” offering the most up-to-date information about age verification for adult sites and revealing how attendees can prepare their business for the market’s new reality.

In addition to Henning, Alastair Graham from AgeChecked, Vince Charlton from AdultWork, Verime’s Rudd Apsey, David Cooke from AgeID, and AVSecure’s Stephen Winyard, will be on hand to lend their expertise and insights on adult’s most pressing issue today.

“The U.K.’s Digital Economy Act impacts all adult websites, requiring age-verification solutions that also comply with the latest privacy laws. This session will help businesses find their way through this complex maze, helping them run safely into the future,” Henning explains. “The need to protect children and ‘doing the right thing’ is a message that ASACP will carry across Europe, beginning at Webmaster Access in Amsterdam.”
